Julie's Medicine Cabinet
This month in Julie’s Medicine Cabinet, our founder details what’s she currently coveting. From her go-to homeopathic kit to her must-have bath soak, Julie’s discoveries are the products you need and never knew you needed.
Helios Homeopathic Kit
Julie has been traveling a lot lately and always has this non-liquid homeopathic remedy kit in tow. “I’m someone who learned the hard way to never travel without homeopathic remedies. It’s great to have certain remedies on hand, especially for acute situations and emergency medicines.” The kit includes 36 of the essential remedies that you would need. “I use these mostly for things like swelling, mosquito bites, or anything that could come up due to travel. It could be fatigue, jet lag, digestive issues, whatever it may be.”
Hyland’s Bioplasma Cell Salts
Since moving to Mexico, Julie has been paying close attention to her mineral balance, more specifically cell salts. German doctor Dr. Wilhelm Heinrich Schuessler discovered that the human body contains twelve vital minerals (tissue) salts necessary for normal cell function and maintaining good health. “You can’t live in the topics and not have a strategy for electrolytes because you would literally drop dead. It’s so hot. In addition to adding sea salt to my water, I take these Bioplasma cell salts to replenish all the essential minerals in the body, which are essential for healthy cellular activity. I add them to my water or take them sublingually.”
Weleda Arnica Muscle Soak
Julie is a no-frills bath person. She buys most of her bathing supplies at the grocery store. “For me, baths are strictly for detoxification purposes, but this product is a game-changer when dealing with fatigue or exhaustion, whether physical or mental and you need something restorative.” The formula is made up of ingredients like arnica, lavender, and rosemary. “The founder of anthroposophic medicine, Rudolph Steiner, used rosemary baths to warm and stimulate the nervous system. Rosemary energizes brain cells, and it helps to reduce mental dullness and lethargy. It’s an incredible tonic for nerves and restorative for the body. I.e., it’s great for muscle aches and soreness. I’d recommend this to anyone who wants to level up their bath game.”
Perelandra ETS+
Perelandra is a center for nature research founded by Machaelle Wright, who created ETS+ with nature using a combination of electrical infusions from 153 different plants, minerals, natural gases, and elements found in the sea, atmosphere and on land. “ETS+ is on a whole other level—it’s the Rolls Royce of rescue remedies. I keep ½ oz bottles of these everywhere—in my bag, carry-on, bedside, and work table. It’s great for any event brought on by anxiety or stress—whatever that stress may be, and it helps stabilize and bring you back into balance. I dose a dropperful sublingually or add to my bath.”
