I am very into eastern medicine and plant healing and I started making this a few years ago. I swear by it. I overheard an employee at Erewhon talking in the homeopathic aisle about adding garlic to honey and I decided to make my own. But I went all out. I put an entire head of garlic and everything else I just intuitively add.
head of garlic
ginger (as much as you want)
1 tsp turmeric
black pepper pods, not milled
Peel a head of garlic and intuitively add ginger, turmeric, cardamom pods, and black pepper. Submerge in a jar of local honey. Wait 1 to 2 weeks before the honey is infused and shake the jar everyday until liquidy. You will know!
