Olfactory Nostalgia with Jess Hannah Révész
GINGER
At In Fiore, we believe the skin is a sense organ and scent initiates healing. Olfactory Nostalgia is a look at medicinal triggers, scented memories, and the feelings that ensue when taking in a distinct ingredient.
Meet Jess Hannah Révész, the jewelry designer behind the decorative, slightly historical, and sustainable metals collection. After amassing a cult following, she revealed a nail polish line with a muted and minimal aesthetic. It’s truly a color theory rainbow that nail brands have yet to tackle.
“Scent is so closely tied to memories and emotions.”

Ginger
Olfactory Nostalgia:
My dad is a physician, and while he generally speaking practices “western medicine,” he also often incorporates a naturopathic approach. When I was young and had stomach ailments, my dad taught me about the different plants and herbs that could help, namely ginger for nausea and indigestion or making a tea from fennel and caraway seeds to ease bloating. Both of which I still utilize on a regular basis!
Perfumery as Medicine:
Scent is so closely tied to memories and emotions to me. This phrase means being reminded of moments of closeness with friends and family.
