At In Fiore, we believe the skin is a sense organ and scent initiates healing. Olfactory Nostalgia is a look at medicinal triggers, scented memories, and the feelings that ensue when taking in a distinct ingredient.

What & Where:
Los Angeles-based celebrity skincare specialist, registered nurse, and Reiki Master.
Vetiver is such a special smell for me. It will forever remind me of the first special weeks when my daughter Rumi was born. Everything was new and scary and overwhelming, I was breastfeeding for the first time, and my baby nurse would come in and rub vetiver essential oils on my feet. It became the most calming and grounding scent in a sleepless time. Now, when I smell it, it immediately brings a nostalgic and calming presence over me, and reminds me of becoming a mother for the first time. I use it in my custom blends for clients during my facials when they need a grounding connection as well.
Perfumery as Medicine:
Perfumery and organic scents can be a healing force that rejuvenates and realigns me from the inside out—taking a moment to be present with the scent and soak in the gifts it has to offer.
