At In Fiore, we believe the skin is a sense organ and scent initiates healing. Olfactory Nostalgia is a look at medicinal triggers, scented memories, and the feelings that ensue when taking in a distinct ingredient.
Meet Angela Fink, the LA-based creative director, that crafts airy, yet evocative images and videos in stunning desert or sun-soaked settings.
“Smelling something that holds memories or a moment of calm is medicine.”
What & Where:
Creative director and co-founder of Weare Dumont Creative Agency based in Los Angeles.
Rose reminds me of Los Angeles in the ’90s. I grew up in Texas, but I would visit my sister, who lived in LA. Her house always smelled of rose. It reminds me of my mindset at that time that anything was possible. It’s a good reminder.
Perfumery as Medicine:
I truly believe that a scent can change your whole mood and smelling something that holds memories or a moment of calm is medicine.
