1 Product, 10 Days
In a world of endless choices, sometimes it feels good to simplify. Yes, even in skin care. We’re lifelong lovers of beauty rituals, no matter how extensive. But when our Japanese partners pitched an SOS product of sorts—one serum meant to be used alone for 10 days to soothe, repair, and deeply hydrate—we thought, why not? We might be wary of quick fixes in beauty, but we’re still totally susceptible to the allure of instant results with minimal effort. (It’s 2018. Who isn’t?)
Enter: Sauvetage, a new serum designed to balance and correct whatever is out of balance—you use it for 10 days, morning and night, for an intensive skin reset.
Get excited because
This. Product. Is. It.
Sauvetage’s primary Fountain of Youth ingredient is natural polymers from blue-green sacrum, rare freshwater algae that grow only in the pure spring water area of Kyushu Island in Japan and belong to the very rare Cyanobacteria species. This gives the serum enormous moisture retaining abilities (five times that of hyaluronic acid). The formulation is also high in anti-inflammatories and antioxidants, including angelica root, one of the most revered plants in Japanese Kanpo medicine, and loquat leaf, an extremely antioxidant-rich Chinese medicinal plant, which exhibits exceptional anti-inflammatory activity internally and externally.
Once you see the results, you may never want to stop using Sauvetage twice a day—which is fine. (It can be layered with the rest of your products, as well.) But as a curious beauty consumer who likes to play the field, Sauvetage can always be used as an occasional treatment serum or spot treatment when your skin feels unbalanced and you need a little instant gratification.
