THE PERFECT RUBDOWN
Facial cleansing soaps are very popular in Japan because of their influential bathing culture. Soaps are simple, elegant, and don't require instruction.
Keeping that in mind, my goal with Clarté Fleur was to create a cleansing soap with clean ingredients you'd commonly find in a moisturizer. And true to Japan-style, we wanted a shape-shifting product—start as a purifying cleanser, and morph into a moisturizer. And the team nailed it.
Typically, I'm not a facial soap-person, but I love them in the bath and for travel when I want to go as minimal as possible, need a multi-tasker, and want everything to be TSA-friendly for my carry on.
Here is how I integrate Clarté Fleur:
For The Face
No offense to Treate, but sometimes I use Clarté Fleur as the second step following the Lustra cleansing oil in the 4-2-4 Cleansing Method. Work up a good watery lather in your hands before applying to the face. This will pull and emulsify the oil a little more deeply, which delivers a squeaky-clean feel without stripping the skin.
For The Legs
Legit, my go-to is using Clarté Fleur as an after-bath shave cream. I work up Clarté Fleur into a rich, creamy lather to shave my legs. Then I follow with Calendula Solution. It's a brilliant combo.
Before A Night Out
When I get home from work and before heading out to a social engagement, I like to cleanse my face and reset to remove my day. Clarté Fleur alone will remove makeup and prep the skin beautifully for a serum boost such as Sauvetage or Complexe de Fleur and Vis Clair. Ultimately, I go out feeling fresh-faced and dewy.
