Fall's Dry Skin Heroes - Body Oils
Fall's Dry Skin Heroes - Body Oils
The oil trend hasn’t died down. In fact, national luxury retailers are now adding a separate drop-down category on their websites for body oils and more. Yes, oils are here to stay. But, all oils aren’t created equally.
Inspired by old world apothecary and alchemy, In Fiore offers all skin types special TLC with organic, wild crafted oils and tinctures that are aimed to help with underlying issues of hydration and circulation. To complement our wildly popular line of face oils, In Fiore is launching a line of three beautifully fragranced body oils - Le Corps d'Huile - to fight dry, cracked skin this season.
Whats New?
What’s new in Le Corps d'Huile is the addition of Rosemary Leaf Extracts, which quenches reactive oxygen species (ROS) and free radicals that degrade oils, preserving the potency of your body oils. Avocado oil serves as the antioxidant base; rich in vitamins A, D, and E, the oil is also rich in Sterolin, which studies have shown to facilitate the softening of the skin and to reduce the incidence of age spots.
Whether you need a boost of moisture during the hectic travel season or help with maintaining skin’s elasticity, founder Julie Elliott offers tips on preventing dry skin issues:
“Water alone cannot moisturize your skin. If your skin is not protected by a rich body oil, the water will evaporate and might even pull more water from the skin. Some people may not be aware that essential oils and herbs have bioenergetic properties that work with human bioenergy. And, the best body oils are rich in antioxidants and are able to reverse a lot of the free radical-induced damage.”
NEW BLENDS
Encens Vetivert
Wild florals meet the exotic earthiness in this bewitching blend featuring vetivert with a beautifully balanced interplay of jasmine sambac and frankincense to enhance nutrition, hydration, and oxygenation of the skin.
Night Queen
The allure of evening’s song – the flawless touch of three varieties of exquisite jasmine flower absolutes from India coat the skin like silk paired with an inimitable sweetness from fresh rose petals and saffron to replenish skin and reduce signs of premature aging.
Kashmir
The dark and mysterious character of the patchouli synergizes the enticing freshness of French neroli flowers and sustainable sandalwood from Australia, long valued as tonics for devitalized and dehydrated skin.
Julie offers additional tips for the best way to enhance the absorption of your body oil:
“Pat yourself dry with a towel immediately after bathing. Waiting too long to dry off will allow the water that has filled your cells to evaporate. Do not towel vigorously. As soon as you've patted yourself dry, massage Le Corps d'Huile into skin to seal in moisture.”
